About Me & My Approach
I am a Miami local who grew up in Bermuda, Mexico, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, before settling back in Miami.
After a mission trip to the Dominican Republic in 2014, where I translated between Spanish-speaking locals and volunteer healthcare professionals, I was inspired to advocate for others and become a nurse. I went on to get a Bachelor of Science in Public Health at Tulane University, where I learned the importance of community-centered health education and prevention. I then pursued a nursing degree from the University of Miami, where I gained experience in pre and post-partum care, labor and delivery, nursery, NICU, and pediatric ER. My nursing experience has given me extensive hands-on clinical experience, as well as a deep appreciation for the value of preventive health education.

At Parlu, we understand that education is key to making informed decisions about your health and the health of your baby. Since the start of my nursing career, I have mentored students, new graduate nurses, and clinical assistants to help them become as knowledgeable and independent as possible. Through individualized, hands-on learning, we can empower each other to make the most of our health.

As a neonatal intensive care nurse, I am driven by the desire to empower parents through education. That is why I created Parlu, a boutique concierge service to bring personalized care to your home.

We are passionate about making your ideal day-to-day lifestyle more attainable.
